Jan 15/12: The EDBA Interclub (both adult and junior) have started and will run until March, 2012. Please contact your club representative if you want to participate in the Interclub.
Jan 15/12: As part of its continual effort to expand badminton programs offered to the community, the EDBA is hosting its first ever EDBA Masters badminton tournament. The tournament will be held on March 17 and 18, 2012 at W.P. Wagner High School. Click here to download a tournament entry form. Deadline for entry is Sunday March 4, 2012. More information about the tournament including the tournament draws will be posted here at a later date.
Jan 15/12: The EDBA Junior Winter Open tournament will not proceed this year as no suitable substitute gym space is available after the gym booking for the tournament was cancelled by the school. The gym booking for the EDBA Junior Open for April 2012 is still intact and that tournament will still proceed.
Jan 15/11: The next EDBA meeting is 7 p.m. February 2, 2012 at the Central Lions Seniors Recreation Centre (11113 113 St, Edmonton).
Jan 2/12: The EDBA has sponsored various Alberta 55+ badminton tournaments in the past. We are again proud to be sponsoring the 2012 Alberta 55+ badminton event this year. The tournament will be held at W.P. Wagner High School on Saturday Feb 18, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Dec 17/11: The 2012 EDBA casino event is on Feb 8 and 9, 2012 (Wednesday and Thursday) at the Baccarat Casino (10128 104 Ave, Edmonton). Volunteers filling a position of General Manager, Alternate General Manager, Banker, Cashier and Count Room Supervisor have to fill out the Volunteer Worker Application which is available here.
